Jon Quinn
Jon Quinn is the Democracy Advisor for the Fred and Barbara Erb Family Foundation. In his role, he supports the Foundation’s strategy and grantmaking by building and maintaining relationships with grant partners, funders, and nonprofit organizations. He also fosters the development and management of grant requests and proposals.
Before joining the Erb Family Foundation, Jon was a Principal at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, where he guided donors through strategic planning, program evaluations, and research. His work helped philanthropists maximize their impact while navigating the complexities of charitable giving.
Jon is deeply committed to civic engagement and social impact. He serves on the boards of Mikva Challenge, a national civics education organization, and the Just Transition Fund, which supports economic transition in coal-impacted communities across the U.S.
Jon earned his bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from the University of Chicago and a Master’s in Public Administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. In his free time, he enjoys reading, attending musical and theater performances, traveling, exploring nature, and taking long walks with his dogs.
