Malia Xie

Malia Xie is the Erb Family Foundation’s Legacy Senior Program Officer. By always keeping Fred and Barabara Erb’s personal passions top of mind, Malia works closely with the Foundation’s trustees, leadership team, and grant partners to identify and develop major grants, especially in areas that are traditionally overlooked by philanthropic efforts. 

Malia is adept at bringing analytical training and experience to the world of philanthropy. At the start of her career, Malia provided economic consulting services to multinational companies. However, she soon felt drawn to mission-driven work and made a significant pivot in her career. She worked for several nonprofit organizations, including the Skillman Foundation and Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation, where she developed and led new projects, grant portfolios, and partnerships. Malia’s ability to seamlessly fuse her love of learning, collaboration, and strategy is an asset for the Erb Family Foundation and our grant partners. 

Malia enjoys being outdoors, especially with her family. She also spends her free time traveling, exploring nature, and learning new art mediums.
