Taylor Williams
Taylor Williams is a Council of Michigan Foundations philanthropy fellow, in partnership with the Fred and Barbara Erb Family Foundation, where she is supporting the Sustainable Business and Arts and Culture grantmaking programs.
Taylor is a lifelong Michigander with a strong commitment to education and community engagement. In 2022, she graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a BBA in Business Management and a minor in music performance. She earned a Certification in Sustainability and Social Impact from the Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility at the University of Colorado Boulder’s Leeds School of Business. Her career has taken her on a path of purpose, including roles such as a Corporate Giving Intern at General Motors, a Volunteer Engagement and Giving Intern with Rocket Community Fund, and a Community Student Assistant at Engage@EMU. She also sits on the Advisory Council for the United Nations Regional Center of Expertise Detroit-Windsor.
Outside of work, one of her proudest achievements to date is co-founding the Gender Consciousness Project, a grassroots social justice organization dedicated to empowering young women of color and/or of faith in Southeast Michigan.
